Reset Button

Resets SchmartSprinkler to default factory settings. Press and hold until device resets (red WiFi LED blinks).

For supplying power to SchmartSprinkler via the supplied power adapter.

Zone Wire Connectors

For connecting SchmartSprinkler to a total of eight valves.

Ethernet port

For connecting SchmartSprinkler to an Ethernet network.

 

Caution: Only use the supplied power adapter; do not use other power adapters with SMART SPRINKLER.

Product Hardware Setup

  1.       Preparing Smart Sprinkler for use

  • (Optional) Mount Smart Sprinkler on a wall by using the screw holes at the bottom of the device. The screw holes are four inches apart.

  • Slide the cover on the front of the Smart Sprinkler upwards to reveal a row of wire connectors. Insert the common wires (x 2) and the control wires for the individual sprinklers (max.8). Secure each wire by tightening the screw at the surface of the row of wire connectors.

  • Connect the common wires and the control wires to the sprinkler system, as shown in the following image. Eight individual valves can be connected to the control wires.

2.      Powering on Smart Sprinkler 

  • Plug Smart Sprinkler into a power socket by using the supplied power adapter. To know more details on the LED lights indication, please refer to the LED status table at the beginning of the guidebook.

3.       Connecting Smart Sprinkler to the Internet

 

  • For Wifi connection: Have an internet-enabled WiFi router available. This router will be the wireless communication bridge between your mobile device and your Smart Sprinkler
  • Note: Alternatively, you can use your mobile device to create a WiFi hotspot. See “Connecting to SMART SPRINKLER” later in this guide for connection instructions.
  • For LAN connection: Have an internet-enabled Local Area Network (LAN) available. Plug a LAN connected Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port at the rear of your Smart Sprinkler.
